What is a solar inverter?
A solar inverter is one of the most important components of a solar power system. It is responsible for converting direct current power generated by solar panels into alternating current power which is used to run various appliances and electrical devices at home. Luminous NXG+ range of solar inverters is the ideal solar solution for homes suitable for areas where there are frequent and long power cuts.
What is the warranty of Luminous NXG+ solar inverter?
Luminous NXG+ solar inverter comes with a product warranty of 2 years with PAN India service assistance. Any problem faced would be handled by Luminous service professionals.
What is the price of Luminous NXG+ solar inverter?
With ability to operate in a wide voltage range, Luminous NXG+ is the ideal solar solution for homes. To get the best price of Luminous NXG+ solar inverters, contact your nearby Luminous dealers.
What is i-charge technology in Luminous NXG+ solar inverter?
i-charge technology enables charging of batteries in a short time when grid power is available. It is helpful in areas particularly when there are long power cuts. This is a user defined setting which we can controlled by i-charge on/off switch at the backside of the solar inverter.
What is ECO mode and UPS mode in Luminous NXG+ solar inverter?
When you want to run computers, UPS mode should be selected. Luminous NXG+ switches to battery backup in UPS mode if the mains voltage drops below 180 volts. When not running computers, ECO mode should be selected. In this mode, the Luminous NXG+ allows input between 100 volts to 290 volts and switches to battery backup when voltage drops below 110 volts.
Does Luminous NXG+ solar inverter supports different types of batteries?
Luminous NXG+ solar inverter comes with independent battery type selection which allows you to use any type of battery like Tubular, Flat Plate, Local or SMF battery making this solar inverter compatible with any battery type.
What is ISOT technology in Luminous NXG+ solar inverter?
ISOT technology stands for Intelligent Solar Optimization Technique. This technique helps in maximizing the solar energy usage in both backup and charging mode of operation.
It depends on the extent of power you want to generate. Make a list of the total load and the time it will be ON in a day. To get energy consumption (Watt-Hour) per day - multiply individual load by the time it operates in a day. Divide this figure total by 4 (Sun hours). This figure gives the approximate total panel Watts.
The savings on your electricity bill is proportional to the capacity of the solar panel installed along with Luminous NXG+ solar inverter. In a tropical country like India, we get an average of 4-5 hours good sunlight for about 300 days in a year. A 1000Wp panel, will generate about 4-5 units per day on a sunny day.
Are Luminous NXG+ solar inverters BIS certified?
Yes, Luminous NXG+ solar inverters are BIS certified as per IS/IEC standards which is mandatory for all solar inverters.
